Chef Dinner for 6, Standard Foods

A truly unique experience at one of Raleigh's beloved neighborhood spots, Standard Foods.  The Standard Foods team will coordinate with the winner to present an evening that includes a personalized tour of the on-site sustainable grocery, urban farm, and whole animal butcher.  

    After the tour, enjoy a private dinner outside prepared by theculinary team, led by Chef Eric Montagne.  Chef Montagne joined Standard Foods in 2016 with extensive culinary experience, including serving as Executive Chef of James Beard Award winner Vivian Howard's Boiler Room Oyster Bar in Kinston.  

    Standard Food's objective is to "reintroduce people to the food, farmers and artisanal production methods of our region. The South’s rich, agrarian history has been lost in the push for mass-production and cheaper, faster ways to bring products to the market. There is a small but burgeoning group of farmers and artisans who have gone back to the old methods - and those who never left. We will seek them out and give them a place to highlight their life’s work. The restaurant and grocery will showcase the unparalleled quality of their products."
