Alliance Medical Ministry is open Mon-Fri from 8:30am to 5pm, and Saturdays 9am to 12pm, hours not traditionally offered by other existing programs in the community.

Alliance provides 24-hour coordination of our patients' medical needs, including appropriate use of ancillary and subspecialty services.  AMM has bilingual staff members and a volunteer translator available at all times to assist our large Hispanic population base.  We also provide bilingual services for after-hours calls.

The clinic employs a small, bilingual staff that is supplemented by approximately 250 community volunteers. Physicians board-certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine provide all the routine care at AMM. Volunteer providers provide supplemental services like urgent and subspecialty care. The paid staff allows each patient to establish an ongoing relationship with a primary care provider that most insured people take for granted.   Volunteers are used in all parts of the clinic for both medical and administrative services.

Routine exams and follow-up care for diabetes, hypertension and other life-threatening diseases are offered as well as the services below:

  • Urgent care appointments
  • All necessary lab work
  • Free or reduced priced medications
  • Monthly ENT and GYN Clinics
  • Screening eye exams for diabetic patients
  • Bilingual services
  • 24-Hour coordination of care including a bilingual after-hours answering service
Each year, AMM hosts several community-wide, free screening events including cervical and breast cancer screenings.   The staff and volunteers also work with local congregations and community centers to provide free screening and health education on diabetes and hypertension.
