Saturday Clinic at Alliance Medical Ministry
Building on the successful model of the Saturday Katrina Clinic, Alliance Medical Ministry expanded its clinic hours to include every other Saturday from 9am to 12pm. Thanks to the support of volunteers – many of whom previously were unable to work at Alliance due to weekly job commitments – the Saturday Clinic opened on February 18, 2006. These additional hours of service provide over 5,000 patients with a weekend alternative to local emergency departments.

In a recent survey of AMM patients:

100% of patients experienced improvement in overall health since establishing medical care at AMM.

63% of patients rated their health as markedly improved.

71% had at least one visit to the ER prior to becoming an AMM patient.

86% had a reduction in Emergency Room visits.

The cost per patient visit has decreased from 2003 - 2005.
