Garden Education and Volunteer Activities:
Plant, weed and water the spring vegetables...and learn the importance of composting and rain barrels
Plant tin can herbs...and learn about the plant life cycle
Build "Insect Can Garden Posts" for the Alliance Community Garden...and learn the importance of pollinators
Plant pollinator flowers...and learn how to plant on a budget and in small containers
Build "Plastic Bottle Flowers"...and learn the importance of recycling
Get your morning exercise in at the launch of 2016's Walk with a Doc!
Join Alliance Medical Ministry's Dr. Jacque Hicks for a short health lesson,
and lace up your sneakers for a 1.3 mile walk around Alliance!

Looking for another way to give back?
Team up with your youth group, company, friends or family to participate in the Alliance Patient Food Drive, and bring these items with you:
Fruit (no sugar)
Peanut Butter (no additives)
Children of all ages welcome!
Fun raffle prizes
Lunch available for purchase at the Deli-icious food truck onsite
Don't forget to bring gloves, hat, sunscreen and a water bottle!
Tours of the Alliance clinic and information on a Community Garden used in a medical clinic setting
In the case of rain, the event will be canceled. Volunteers will be contacted ASAP regarding any event status change.
