Yoga instructors from You Call This Yoga teach adaptive yoga classes to our patients that allow all individuals to participate, regardless of their athletic ability. The goal is to increase strength and flexibility while reducing stress. Yoga takes place at Alliance every Thursday evening from 6:00 to 7:00.
Join us in Zumba, taught by volunteer Paula Grabill.
The class is FREE for Alliance patients and you do not need to attend all the classes to participate.
No prior experience necessary. Classes will be held on Monday mornings from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Alliance.
Walk with a Doc
Alliance is the Raleigh site for the “JustWalk™” Walk With a Doc walking program.
Join our doctors for a thirty minute walk around the Alliance neighborhood -- about 1.18 miles!
Our physicians will lead conversations on health issues faced by many of our patients, including diabetes, hypertension and obesity.
After the walk, attendees are welcome and encouraged to harvest vegetables from our Community Garden!
