PATIENT FAQs

  • What are the clinic hours?

        AMM's clinic is open Monday - Thursday 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Friday 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM, and 1st and 2nd Saturdays by
appointment only (the lab is open, as well).

  • What happens if I miss an appointment?

We are happy to reschedule you.  Please call the main number and follow the prompts for our patient services representatives.
Please be aware that frequent missed appointments may result in you being dismissed from the practice.

  • What happens if I don’t have my co-pay?

AMM never wants a patient to go without care because of finances. If you’re unable to pay your co-pay, you will be referred to our business manager at check-in to discuss a payment plan that is suitable to your needs.

  • What happens if I can’t provide all financial documentation needed?

If you are applying to become a patient at AMM, you must provide all financial documentation in order to submit a complete application and be considered.

If you are an existing AMM patient and do not have all financial documentation, we will schedule an appointment for you, but you must provide all financial documentation and other required documentation.  Please know that we cannot serve you to the best of our ability without all requested documentation.  If you have not provided any financial information to us, there will be a $50 copay charge at your appointment.

  • Can I see a doctor on evenings and weekends?

The office closes weekdays at 4:00 pm, but a doctor is on-call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.  Call (919) 250-3320 and have the on-call provider paged for urgent/emergency questions that cannot wait until the office reopens.

  • How do I get refills of my medicine?

Please contact your local pharmacy to request an ELECTRONIC refill at least two (2) weeks prior to running out of the medication.  The pharmacy will contact AMM via our electronic medical records system and your refill request will be handled within five (5) business days of our receipt of the request.

Every effort will be made to contact patients with appointments to reschedule them to a more convenient time.
