Position: Medical Assistant
The Medical Assistant (MA) supports providers in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced primary care setting. The MA performs clinical and administrative duties, assists with patient flow, and ensures efficient daily operations while maintaining a compassionate and professional patient experience. The MA ensures clinical areas run smoothly and efficiently while supporting the provider.
Hours: Full time, 40 hours/week, Occasional Saturday hours 9:00am-12:00pm
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Greet patients and confirm patient demographic information to assure accuracy
• Room patients to include both telehealth visits and in-office visits
• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
• Room patients and obtain vital signs (blood pressure, height, weight, etc)
• Explain treatment procedures to patients
• Assist the provider during in-office or telehealth visits as needed
• Perform basic laboratory tests on the premises
• Perform other clinical functions as delegated by Clinical Supervisor
• Schedule appointments and handle correspondence to patients for assigned providers
• Perform other clinical functions as delegated/supervised by the provider/supervisor
Skills:
• Training Proficiency with Electronic Health Record system
• Strong clinical and technical skills.

Education/Training Experience:
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
• Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA, or equivalent) preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required
