On Monday, Oct. 26th at 7:30pm, Quail Ridge Books will host new author Patsy Harman for a presentation of her book, The Blue Cotton Gown: A Midwife's Memoir, about the challenges of caring for patients at a small medical clinic. Also, come a little early for a short presentation about Alliance Medical Ministry, a local medical clinic providing affordable, quality healthcare for the working uninsured of Wake County. Quail Ridge Books and Music is located at 3522 Wade Avenue in Raleigh's Ridgewood Shopping Center.
